Broader than operational risk, regulators consider non-financial risks to be those that do not involve a financial decision, and for which there is only a downside. Financial risks such as credit risk and market risk fall outside the definition of NFR. Examples of non-financial risks include operational risk, third party risk, cyber risk, reputational risk, conduct risk, regulatory risk, and compliance risk.
